Mr TV Man asks the question: “ What happens when the thing we consume ends up consuming us?”
This theme is a strong connective thread that runs through the fabric of this film, but it isn’t confined to only that idea. Mr TV Man explores mental health, fragmented households, consumerism, the fragility of humanity and feeling unheard. Told in a dark dreamlike story that feels familiar, yet surreal at the same time. It’s abstract but stays grounded enough to keep you connected until the credits roll. This is an “art heavy” film, utilizing the skills of over a dozen of the most talented local artists along with the best production crew we could possibly have hoped for.
The Technical Info;
Mr TV Man was shot on the Arri Alexa Mini LF with Zeiss ultra prime lenses primarily giving it a sharp, rich quality only further emphasized by the incredible lighting Implemented.
The film is primarily black and white, with two aspect ratios of 16:9 & 4:3. Both the color choices and aspect ratios are methodical choices made between the director, cinematographer & art director.
Mr TV Man is a proof of concept for a feature film that is being written at the moment that dives further into the world and story of our unfortunate protagonist. With a goal of entering preproduction in the fall of 2026.
